Meet the Business Owner
MEGAN BLAINE AIA Principal Architect Megan began her career in 2002, designing residential projects at all scales from high-end custom homes to the Boulder shelter for the homeless. From there, she went on to design multidisciplinary projects worldwide, including in London, Bodrum, Istanbul, Abu Dhabi, Mallorca, and Silicon Valley with an emphasis in high-end resort design. Megan joined Foster + Partners in London, focusing on large scale commercial and hospitality, restaurants, followed by several years on the Apple Campus during construction. Megan and Keith founded Blaine Architects after moving back to California in 2015. KEITH BLAINE AIA LEED AP BD+C Director of Architecture Keith received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California. In Los Angeles Keith worked in the challenging and rewarding fields of Healthcare and Education before joining Foster + Partners in London to work on the Apple Park. This project brought him back to California in Silicon Valley. Keith served the Silicon Valley community and architectural profession in 2020 as President of the AIA American Institute of Architects, Silicon Valley Chapter.

Unlike other preapproved ADU designs, we partnered with builders, Oak and Willow Construction, so we are able to deliver these ADUs as quickly as possible.
Because of the standardization of the build, Oak and Willow have been able to virtually eliminate lead times on items that normally take months to deliver, such as appliances and windows, which means you don’t spend months waiting for deliveries with a half-finished construction site.

Add close to 160sf of additional storage space by building this free-standing loft above the bed. Our local millworker uses high-quality white oak veneer plywood over a sturdy wood frame to construct a loft like furniture and cabinetry. You can use it as you see fit, but because of the 10’ exterior wall heights, you can take advantage of the extra space by adding in this optional loft.
