About Us
We leverage our expertise in architecture and real estate development to help developers and individuals enhance their investments while benefiting our shared communities. Our market knowledge and collaborative design approach results in innovative housing that people want to live in.
We help our clients navigate the complexities of entitlements and permitting in Northern California to realize their projects faster. Through our community-based approach, we design housing that communities embrace.
Mayberry Workshop takes a collaborative approach to bring you into the center of our design process. We work with you to elevate your investment and uncover unique solutions to help you meet your project goals. We start with your program, develop a central design idea, and reframe and refine it until it’s perfect. Our 3D models let you walk through the project and experience the design every step of the way.
Adam founded Mayberry Workshop out of a desire to use his background in architecture and real estate development to positively impact the communities around him. He is driven by a desire to find creative housing solutions for all people. He gravitates towards residential design because of its ability to impact people at the individual level.
Adam is especially skilled in leveraging master planning, zoning, and spatial relationships to find the highest and best use of properties. He has become a trusted partner because of his ability to help his clients reach their goals in ways they did not think possible.
Adam holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development for Architects degree from Woodbury University San Diego and a Bachelor’s of Architecture degree from Cal Poly SLO. He serves on the San Jose Downtown Association’s Downtown Design Committee and Advocacy Committee and on the SPUR Urban Catalyst Committee. When not working, Adam enjoys soaking up the sun with his wife, three daughters and Oona the Great Pyrenees/Shepherd Mix.
With a background in construction, Aaron makes certain that buildings are getting designed with the realities of constructibility in mind. This includes an early analysis of what true construction costs will be, helping to eliminate rounds of value engineering.
His company, Mission City Construction, has a unique relationship with Mayberry Workshop. Together they offer design-build services for custom homes and commercial tenant improvements. He is an integral part of the Mayberry design team serving as project manager and providing constructibility reviews. His natural curiosity brings a level of thoroughness to the design process.
Aaron has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley where he studied
Rhetoric & History, Classics, History, Business, and Civil Engineering. As he was about to embark on the LSATs he switched paths and became a project manager at a construction firm, never looking back. In his free time, he can be found with his family living life to its fullest, camping, participating in sports, hiking, boating and more.
Tommy is most fulfilled when using his architecture skills to solve his clients’ most complex problems. He is a project manager with Mayberry Workshop and leads the charge in delivering projects on time and on budget. He takes a client-focused approach, which combined with his organizational skills ensures a smooth process for everyone involved.
At the office, Tommy is a mentor and a collaborator. He developed his passion for architecture while accompanying his father on construction sites throughout his childhood. He takes pride in knowing that his clients are going to enjoy the spaces his team designs long after the project is complete.
Tommy is a registered architect and holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Ohio State University. While not at work he enjoys collaborating on creative projects with his wife and having fun with his children.
